The Site got Updated

A list of things to look out for:

Obviously the theme has changed somewhat. The ad-bar at the top means Premier users lose that completely if they reduce the ads.

The black bar at the top, the “user bar” has a dropdown menu with links to your new profile area. Here you can upload an avatar and mess with your account settings like put in your Twitter, YouTube and Flickr ID so people can find you elsewhere (Edit Profile > Networks).

A user’s profile tells you when they were last active > e.g. http://www.singletrackworld.com/members/tomdebruin/

This area is the foundation for new user features coming in the future.

Hopefully articles are easier to read, and all that jazz.

Scout around a bit.

  1. Nice and fresh feel to it.

Thanks for investing the time in updating it unlike some other sites I used to frequent who updated it to a format that just doesn’t work.

  2. It would be cool if there was a “Submit a route” so enthusiastic site members could share their trail knowledge. Not an easy thing to implement (and that’s before even getting into the methods of checking the legality of the route etc) but it would be cool 🙂
