Mark Alker

Singletrack Owner/Publisher

What Mark doesn’t know about social media isn’t worth knowing and his ability to balance “The Stack” is bested only by his agility on a snowboard. Graphs are what gets his engine revving, at least they would if his car wasn’t electric, and data is what you’ll find him poring over in the office. Mark enjoys good whisky, sci-fi and the latest Apple gadget, he is also the best boss in the world (Yes, he is paying me to write this).

  1. Why is the Intense Spider on test so heavy compared to the other two – just components?

It looks the natural replacement for my Blur XC (old Alu one).

  2. Why advertise the digital subscription with emphasis on how great it is on the iPad when the extra video content for Premier subscribers needs Flash player to view them?!!!!!

  3. Premier digital users get access to the mag in both formats. No one is missing out. We’ve even included all the extras in this story in both Flash and ipad friendly .m4v formats. Which particular extra can’t you see on your iPad?

  4. Hi Mark. Thanks for the reply. The short video clips of the bikes in mp4 don’t seem to want to play on my iPad. When I click on them I just get a play symbol with a line through it. Maybe it’s my iPad playing up. Maybe I should just spend less time on the iPad and more time out riding!!
