With 23 years as Editor of Singletrack World Magazine, Chipps is the longest-running mountain bike magazine editor in the world. He started in the bike trade in 1990 and became a full time mountain bike journalist at the start of 1994. Over the last 30 years as a bike writer and photographer, he has seen mountain bike culture flourish, strengthen and diversify and bike technology go from rigid steel frames to fully suspended carbon fibre (and sometimes back to rigid steel as well.)

  2. That’s a fine point there Lactic. However, we’ll have to wait for Benji to get back from Spain for the real juicy stuff as he’s currently only reporting via his phone in a meeting room. Once we get him and his video camera back, we’ll put something good up – we just thought you might want a sneak preview until then.

  3. there does seem to be a large mud port under that dial, if it sits open all the time i can only imagine what a few weekends worth of grit sand and gunk will do
