I had quite a bikey weekend. On Saturday I attended the Stif grand opening (story in the news section), got myself some new tyres and a couple of other bits and bats.
On Sunday I went to the dig day at Stainburn. The extension to the descent line was started about a year ago and Singletraction are now desperately trying to get it finished for the summer. There was a pretty good turnout of around 15+ plus people at various points in the day. The ground work is still being done so the day mostly involved moving large boulders and rock. There’s not too far to go on this now, if there’s a good turnout next month it may just be ready for the surfacing.
Dig days are the first Sunday of each month (more info can be found on www.singletraction.org.uk) so if you’re in the area make the effort to come along, then we can have an especially good summer!
So, bikes all weekend but I didn’t actually ride one…
