Remember Summer 2009? It didn’t happen in July but in May for SPAM’s Set2Rise 12 hour Enduro.
The forum was full of praise for the fun course with its high content of singletrack.

Based on the success of the last 2 years, this growing event sponsored by CHARGE BIKES (and supported by Mule Bar too) predicts to meet its limit of 500 riders in 2010. The event takes place on 29-30 May 2010 at Erlestoke Woods, details and entry at http://www.spambiking.co.uk

The overnight 12 hour enduro is open to solo riders and singlespeeders, teams (of up to 4 riders) and pairs. The course (consisting of 7 mile laps) offers fantastic mountain biking including fast tracks, grassy inclines and descents and boasts almost 50% fun, technical wooded singletrack leaving riders grinning from ear to ear! Due to the singletrack content, entry is limited to 500 riders to avoid bottlenecks, so the organisers suggest you enter early.

  1. Brilliant course with more good singletrack than the more prestigous events. No need to travel to Wales/oop north or wherever, either. Charge bikes and other sponsors put up some top prizes, too. Must try and win some this year.

  2. Great event last year; looking forward to this years. SPAM members will be focusing their mind-energy through pilates based regimes and rhythmic chanting to ensure the sun-gods are good to us again!
