Shanaze Reade has teamed up with Ready Brek to support the Department for Transport’s ‘Be Bright Be Seen’ campaign.
The Ready Brek sponsored video stars schoolchildren, a headteacher, a Bike It officer and Olympian Shanaze Reade.
Reade is shown in the video urging children to make themselves more visible to drivers by wearing retro-reflective ankle bands, clip-on reflectors, arm bands and stickers.

Ready Brek said it is supporting the Department for Transport’s ‘Be Bright Be Seen’ campaign “to ensure that wearing fluorescent and reflective gear is as much a part of a child’s daily routine as a healthy breakfast – making sure they’re ready for anything the day might bring.”

Admanmatt,
For those of us of a certain age that was a lovely trip down memory lane. Thanks, I feel all ….. well, old!
They might actually need to give children some “bright stuff” then. I asked for some when we were promoting the Tour of Britain at school and was told “We don’t do that anymore”. 🙁
Reflective stickers/arm bands etc seem quite expensive, so maybe some subisdising would be an encouragement too?
