Pace and a bit of DT Swiss

The replacement for the 305, this is the new 325. Tweaked geometry, slidy replaceable dropouts, 160mm forks and set up either for a Hammerschmidt or single chainring.

Another new bike, Pace's 204, a 4" travel trail bike with replaceable slidy dropouts, relaxed geometry and love-or-hate looks

New DT Swiss shock on the Pace 405, otherwise that remains unchanged.

Much better looking than the 204, this is Pace's gorgeous 104 rigid singlespeed. Lovely swoopy rear stays, huge mud clearance.

Chromed chainstay, curvy steel, replaceable dropouts.

New XM (Cross Mountain) fork from DT Swiss, magnesium bridge. Light and stiff.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it! DT Swiss all-singing ultralight XC race fork, full carbon (inc steerer), magnesium dropouts.

Pace's brand new BB, fully sealed inside and out with externally accessible grease port. Even comes with the tool to regrease it.

  1. 325 may grow on me, but would be more bike than i need, and still 3 ring man. Shame they dont offer a lighter weight Scandium 305 replacement too for 130mm forks, My 303 would be perfect if it was 1 lb lighter and a little softer on the back end.

Any news on the weight for that 104, definately a good on-one/Cotic alternative

Chrome stay is well cool, how about a pimp fully chrome option 🙂

  2. Does the 204 have the main suspension pivot around the BB so it can be run singlespeed? Otherwise, what exactly is the point of a sliding dropout on a 4″ travel bike?

  3. “104 looks lush, especially with the smooth welds and chrome stay. Does this mean that their rigid carbon fork may make a comeback after all, or is it a leftover?”

I agree, the 104 looked absolutely gorgeous in the metal. I was also wondering about the return of the RC31, there seemed to be a couple of them on Pace’ stand, but foolishly I didn’t actually think to ask someone if they were re-releasing it!

  4. Juan; the 42:16 is about £500 I think…I spent a lot of time looking at that one when I was there yesterday.

Does anyone know when it will be available to buy?

  5. What’s going on with the seat tube on that 325?
I need to going see it with real eyes at the weekend I think.

It was just the photo, seat tube looks entirely normal in the metal.

Any news on the weight for that 104

On the stand it said 5lbs.
