Cotic to have actual new product at the Cycle Show

We’ve just had word over the Bat Laptop that Cotic will be making it worthwhile you coming to the Cycle Show next week – lots of brand new models to see that you won’t have seen elsewhere – not even on Singletrack.

CycleShow2009_consumerCy Turner takes up the enthusiastic promotion:

“Great news for all of you heading to Cycle Show next week is that if you seek out Cotic on stand F12a, we will have actual, never seen before, not-teased-or-leaked new product to show you and talk about! I know, new product at London Show that wasn’t trailed, teased or launched months ago. Amazing!

We have four new frames to launch, and we’d love for you to drop by and see. The now legendary Soul has its first major re-work since its launch six and half years ago, there’s a new version of the BFe all mountain hardtail, a new Soda and something completely brand new we’ll keep to ourselves until we see you. We’re also bringing the 2010 version of the Hemlock (which is already on sale, so not exactly a launch), and a couple of RoadRats in various guises for your viewing pleasure.

Drop by any time; Stand F12a. There’s no formal get together or PowerPoint presentations, just us, some ace bikes and our blue inflatable sofa to flop upon when you arrive.”

We think that the flopping invitation is for the press, but we’re sure that Cy won’t mind you having a go on the famous inflatable blue sofa if you’re a Cotic fan.

If you’ve not seen our competition to win five pairs of free tickets to the show – now you can, it’s over here…

Why do manufacturers feel they have to court the press so much, what do they buy??

  2. “Why do manufacturers feel they have to court the press so much, what do they buy??”

they buy the manufacturer sales as a result of a good review, as opposed to losing sales through pictures of cracked frames like the broken roadrat posted in the main forum.

  3. I ride the 19″ and I’m 6ft 3in with a 36″ inseam. How big d’you want?!! We made an XL once after lot’s of really tall blokes complained. We got 9 made, and ended up selling off 6 of them in our only sale to date some 2 years later.
