Something a bit different this week.
All bikes have got an intended purpose, so let's see your bike being used for the wrong purpose.

The rules;
1. Take a photo of your bike with something that matches the theme in the picture.
2. Interpret the theme any way you like.
3. Pictures should be taken between the dates in the topic title.
4. If you post a picture you can either suggest a theme for next weeks challenge or vote for someone else's suggestion. First suggestion to get two supporting votes becomes next weeks theme, probably.

As its a suggestion that narrowly missed last week, here's a cheeky entry from yesterday's ride, narrowly missing this week. A shocking image but it rather conveys the speed involved I think.

I was on the rigid karate monkey, everyone else on 5 inches of travel. The route was the rocky slopes of east dartmoor. I felt like I had brought a knife to a gunfight as we pelted down the smallacombe descent...

Next week, ...having spent yesterday afternoon with tingling shins from stinging nettle strikes how about the vegetation overgrowth/encroachment idea from mattk/DONK that was unused from a couple of weeks ago.

Lightweight XC race bike being used on the commute.

What looks like a dead end in the background is actually a footpath through the woods, down to a road, over the road, along a bridleway to the canal...

Took the family camping up on Dartmoor at the weekend and used the GF's bike to ferry the crap from the car up into the depths of the moor. (Had to park the car in a village miles away 'cos there's lots getting broken into at night in the car parks at present). Frame was too small, bars are too narrow & the bike has a Flexstem but I enjoyed every minute of the rides up onto and back down off Dartmoor. Overall, the trip was a pile of crap though. I was Sherpa, cook & coolie and they all continualy mocked my balloon bed without remorse and nicked the ballons to make sausage dogs - Solo bivi next time I think.

There's a lot of vegetation springing up at present so how about Fecundity for next week's theme?
EDIT: A bit like Muke and others suggest above ^^^^^^^^ 🙂

Virtually all of my rides include some kinda greenlane / farmtrack / holloway, irrespective of what I'm riding on.

Today it was my much ridden '92 or '93 MBK HPF that got roped in.
