Even though pop ups are blocked on my android phone, mobirewards.org keeps popping up and telling me I've won an iPad 2. But, and here's the rub, only while browsing stw.

I get it too, though it normally happens to me when I'm ona Gawker site (Kotaku, Jezebel, i09 etc). As Cougar said, it's using JavaScript to bypass the pop up blocking option - you can switch it off in the Safari settings, but you'll lose functionality on any site that uses javascript in any form. -_-
