after some lightweight summer gloves (full finger), i have mitts for the proper height of summer, but its a tad to chilly for them yet

my gores have suddenly acquired 2 holes in the finger tips, so im after something lightweight for spring/summer when its a little chillier but dry (sorted for rain etc)

whats out there? would like to have some form of padding around ulna nerve area ideally

Spesh XC gloves - not sure how much they are now but were on offer for a tenner from Evans. Super light and good close fit for me with all mesh back so I wear them all summer (even in hot countries)

I love Specialized gloves, have tried on a few other brands and they don't fit as well as Spesh. Had the BG gel for years until they wore out and now got their enduro gloves which are unpadded on the palms but with a bit of finger/knuckle protection. Their LoDown gloves are very similar to the enduro but more minimal and look great

I just got some of these tasteful little numbers.

Not really of much help but I've recently tried alternatives to the Spesh and Dakine gloves I've used over recent years and there's a distinct tight and long thumb issue with some brands - Royal and Troy Lee are soem of the culprits. They're that tight it cuts off the circulation enough to give me pins and needles.

I put it down to manufacturers catering for the masses of thin-tipped, freakishly long IT fingers you see so much of these days...

There was a website selling Scott stuff really cheap recently. I got some nice light Scott ones for about £6 - perfect for this time of year

I'm using 661 gloves these days as they do version without the velcro cuff, which I always find gets in the way and falls apart on other gloves anyway.

Like my 661 Raji. No idea if they still do them. No padding though.

Start cycles is a good place to check out

Endura Full Montys here. Nice and light, ventilated. Sizes run small though - I would try some on rather than buying online.

661 Raji or Spesh xc gloves are the thinnest I've used. Tld xc are slightly hotter/more protective .

Those scott gloves look great for when it gets really warm! Can I justify another pair of gloves?

On one do a nice mesh backed full finger.
I use fox dirtpaw's, getting a little bit warm for them now though, but i like the amount of protection.
